Volcano and Emergency Preparedness

In 2008, FEMA issued over 60 federal disaster declarations. After such events, many were not able to eat a hot meal for a week or longer. Some succumbed to disease because they had no way to sterilize water, baby bottles, and common cooking utensils. Some had to endure cold and harsh temperatures. Our Volcano 2 Cook Stove, provides the ability to cook, sterilize water (one of the first requirements in any disaster), and provide heat. This item may be the most important device you can have, should an emergency arise.

The Volcano 2 is perfect to have on hand for any emergency. It is the only stove available that can use three different fuels: wood, charcoal, and propane. Its patented heat chamber makes the stove extremely fuel efficient. This means it can cook a meal with as few as 12 charcoal briquettes. Each 20 lb bag of briquettes has enough fuel to cook 25 hot meals anytime, anywhere.

What will you do if there is an emergency? Do you have a disaster kit? Do you have emergency supplies like food storage? How will you cook your food? How will you sterilize your water? Think about where you live. These same questions apply whether you’re subject to earthquakes, floods, tornados, hurricanes, fires, or any other type of disaster. But remember, emergencies don’t just come by way of natural disaster. Losses of power, fuel shortages, or even high utility bills are reasons why the Volcano 2 Cook Stove is an incredible asset.

Make sure you’re prepared for anything that may come your way.  We invite everyone to find out more about Volcano, our products, and how you can have a little more peace of mind!
